Arena Catches Profiteering Auction Site Ticket Seller
Further to a public ‘Tip Off’, Arena management together with their ticket agency Ticketmaster, have identified an individual who is re-selling Arena show tickets for a major profit in significant quantities, on a major auction site.
This male individual lives in Newcastle’s ‘NE 7’ area, and all his tickets are being voided; he is being formally notified of this action.
Any persons who have purchased tickets from an auction site for Peter Kay, Westlife and Leona Lewis at Metro Radio Arena need to contact their supplier/seller urgently and get their money back, as those tickets may now be void and admission will not be allowed. The voided transactions and corresponding item numbers to date are as follows;
E-bay item numbers; 390122308164, 390127178631, 3901271778171, 390124072425, 390127179048, 390122308164, 390123285285, 390123995930
Whilst re-selling tickets is not illegal or against Arena ticket terms & conditions, re-selling for profit is, and it is particularly upsetting and despicable when large premeditated profits are made from genuine fans.
There is a great temptation to buy from auction sites or unofficial ticket sources particularly on strong selling shows, and especially at this time of year for presents. Tickets should always only be bought through official Arena ticket agents or from the Arena Box Office.
