Located on the banks of the river Tyne, Metro Radio Arena Newcastle is ten minutes away from Central Station and the Tyne and Wear Metro.

How to get there by Car or Coach

The Metro Radio Arena Newcastle is only 3 minutes from the A1 North - South route. Take the A184 signposted 'City Centre', then follow the A189 over the Redheugh Bridge. When in the vicinity of the Arena, follow the signs to the appropriate car parks.

Public Transport

Take local bus services or the Metro to Central Station and the Arena is approximately 5 minutes walk away. All public travel information is available from the Nexus website or Traveline on 0870 608 2 608.

Arena Car Parking Site

There are over 600 parking spaces available on site that are security patrolled. Alternatively, there are thousands of additional spaces located within 5 minutes walk of the Arena. Orange badge holders can park at the Arena free of charge at the designated car park, close to the entrance of the building. Book your car park place when you purchase your tickets and save money!

Car Park season tickets are available for our secure CCTV car park as follows:

• Annual Day Parking Pass: £185
• 6 Month Parking Pass: £120
• 3 Month Pass £85
• Month Pass: £49
• Week Pass: £13
• Day Pass: £4 (not applicable for parking during events, which are charged at a different rate)
• Annual Renewal: £140
• 6 Month Renewal: £95

Send the completed form into the Arena, marked for the attention of Carrie Marshall, including a cheque for the relevant amount, or call Carrie Marshall at the Arena on 0800 493 4567; alternatively pay at the security entrance (rear of Arena). PLEASE NOTE THIS FORM IS ONLY TO BE USED FOR DAY PARKING, FOR EVENT PARKING, PLEASE SEE BELOW.

There are also a limited amount of car park spaces that can be pre paid for event nights. These can be booked when you book your tickets and are on a first come first served basis.

Dropping Off & Picking Up

Dropping off can be made along Railway Street. You are advised to collect people from an area away from the Arena as it is likely that you will become involved in heavy traffic.

Taxis

Taxis can pick up on Railway Street/Arena Way before and after events. There is also a taxi rank at Central Station.
