Grammy Living Legend winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Rod Stewart is tackling two momentous rock-star milestones in 2013. The first is his landmark new album ‘Time’ - his first album of new material in almost 20 years - released on Monday and set to top the charts. The second is the one of most exciting UK tours of his career! Rod Stewart will be making a welcomed return to the Metro Radio Arena on Friday 27th September 2013.

As part of the four-city Time tour, Rod has been announced as one of the initial headliners for the first purpose-built music venue in the UK – the 13,000 capacity Leeds Arena. Rod will also play Liverpool, Newcastle and London as part of the Time Tour which follows his hugely successful Live The Life tour in June.

Rod Stewart said: "2013 is a momentous year for me. I am excited to showcase this new material for the first time in two decades. Nothing means more to me than performing for a live audience and I can’t wait to get back to the UK!"

The tour coincides with the release of Rod’s first album of songs he has written and produced in almost 20 years.  This landmark album marks Stewart’s long-awaited return to his songwriting roots with across the board critical acclaim. In addition to six of the extraordinary tracks from Time, the tour will of course feature many of Rod’s classic hits including ‘You Wear It Well’, ‘Maggie May’, ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy’, ‘Baby Jane’, ‘The First Cut is the Deepest’, ‘I Don’t Want To Talk About It’, ‘Tonight’s The Night’ and ‘Sailing’.

Rod Stewart has released 27 studio albums and garnered an estimated 150 million in album sales worldwide.  With a career now in its fifth decade, Stewart has clocked up over six consecutive number one albums, 62 hit singles with 31 top 10s and six number 1s.

MOYA

Moya is delighted to announce she’ll be continuing her tour with Rod Stewart, after a personal invitation to return later this year, for an extra 9 UK dates.

After a hugely successful arena tour this June/July across the UK and Europe, including two nights at London’s O2, Moya was bowled over on the last night of the tour, when there was a knock on her door, from the legend himself.

“Rod knocked on my dressing room door and actually took the time to ask me back for the new dates, which I really didn’t expect,” says the fast rising UK singer, recently dubbed a ‘One to Watch,’ from the Independent.

“Touring with Rod has been the biggest moment of my career so far and I’m delighted I can continue. It’s been such a learning curve too. He’s such a dynamic performer, I’ve learnt so much from watching him. It’s made me a better performer.”

The shows will also coincide with the release of Moya’s new single, “Come and Get It” out September 23rd. With her sights set firmly on breaking the UK charts, ‘Come and Get It’ bursts with an attitude we’ve yet to see from the 22-year old singer. Piano driven, armed with a killer hook and vocals that are clearer and brighter sounding than ever before, it’s clear Moya is on the path to something big.
